M* is baaack :D

I'm baaack! Not that I went anywhere fun ;\ lol. I've just been busy with work. August is obviously my last month before I start classes again so I just wanted to get in as much hours at work as possible. I start class September 1st :[ this summer went by sooo fast and I did absolutely nothing. But anywho, I'm just going to share some pictures and recap some things.

This was the color of my nails in the beginning of August. I was really bored so I finally decided to color my nails. I'm sure everyone thinks it's not a big deal, but it is to meee! Lol. I normally always get tips done because my nails simply would chip/break at a certain point of their growth. But! I decide to give my nails another shot so I started using Sally Hansen's Natural Nail Growth Activator. I guess I can say that it works! :) I apply it every morning/afternoon and every night. My nails have been feeling more healthy and they definitely have not been chipping! :D You can most likely buy this at any drugstore and it shouldn't be too expensive. I'll say around 5-8$? It's worth it if it works! =)

August 19th was one of my gf's birthday! Unforunately she had to leave to go to Ghana to study abroad from August 15th-December 13th, so we decided to celebrate her birthday/have a goodbye dinner with her a week before she was leaving. T* and I bought her this care package to bring to Ghana. Aren't we such sweet friends? ;p

This thing had everything in it from tampons to bandaids to qtips. You name it, lol.

Not only did we get her a care package.. we also got her the Elsa Peretti Open Heart Bracelet from Tiffany & Co. It was just a cute little something we wanted to give her to symbolize our friendship ;] I got T* the Elsa Peretti Open Heart Earrings for her 21st birthday anddd my parents got me the Elsa Peretti Open Heart Ring for my birthday. So, all 3 of us have hearts! :D

We had dinner with her at Joe's American Bar & Grill. T* and I preordered some cupcakes from this new bakery at Short Hills Mall called Brownie Points. The cupcakes were alright. Nothing out of the ordinary, but hey.. cupcakes are always cute!

So the other day at work my manager decided to show me how to order from Domino's Pizza through the internet. It was quite interesting lol. After you click a bunch of things to indicate what you want to eat they process your order and they show you this meter. So, I sat there and stared at the meter for the longest time while my manager explained to me how the damn thing worked lmao. So apparently the meter will tell you exactly what those people are doing with your food.. for exampe, a bar of the meter will fill up and it'll state that they are "baking your pizza" and then another bar will fill up after that and it'll state that "your pizza is now being boxed", and then a third bar will fill up stating that "your pizza is now being delivered", etcetcetc lolll. It was pretty neat and supposidly by the time the bar gets filled to the end the Domino's delivery guy should be at your door shortly, and surely.. he was! My manager order the Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bowl which came with a little treat on the side which she gave me ;D

Too bad I wasn't that hungry that day. Otherwise, I would've definitely loved to
try the pasta bowl too. It looked delishhh.

Aside from all my crazy spendings on clothes, accessories, and food.. I recently developed a mini little obession for fishys? Lmao. Ever since my manager and I have been remodeling our office I've been into fishys! We're getting these cute little round fish bowls for my office that you can mount on the wall. It's pretty neat:

I currently have 2 fishes of my own and my mother has 2 as well, lol. I was really bored last Sunday so I was like "why not go to Petco and get myself a fishy", sooo I did! :p I definitely wouldn't be able to keep up with cleaning a filtered tank, so I decided against getting a big tank. Instead, I got a betta fish which can survive in an unfiltered tank/bowl. That's what the Petco employee suggested me. I heard betta fish are pretty easy to mantain and pretty easy going fish all in all.

Even though you can't put betta fish together (because they'll fight) I just felt like my fish was lonely, hahaha. So, I went back to Petco the following Tuesday and got another fish. I got a seperate little round bowl for it at Walmart. This time, I got a girl haha. The female betta fish are not 1/2 as pretty as the male bettas, but this one stood out to me for some reason so I couldn't resist but to bring her home.

Her name is Prada. I know my picture is small, but she has pretty stripes
that run down both sides of my body. She's gorgeous =]

I bought my mom a fish the day I bought Prada because my mom was home this whole summer and I can just imagine how boring that was.. and plus, when I got Gucci she fed him nonstop so I figured I'd just go pick up a fish for her so she can feed her own lolll. I love my mom. She's so cute.

She named her fish Chanel. It's also a female. Prada and Chanel
were the 2 prettiest female fishys at Petco so I just had to buy them :p

This is my mom's 2nd fish. We have yet to really name him, lol.

I took my mom to Petco on Thursday to see if we needed to buy anything else for our fish and instead.. we ended up buying her 2nd fish, lmaooo. He's sooo pretty when he flares out his tail. He's a double tail betta so he was a bit more expensive than the other bettas I bought, but my mom didn't care lol. Aside from buying him, I also bought a fish for my office (I promise this is the last fish for a whiiile) ;x

because he's almost transparent!
So, I bought him and put him in a little bowl on our TV stand at the office.
I can't wait til our wall mounted fish bowls come! More fishy shopping :x

OK! On to today. Can I say.. T.G.I.F.?! This has been one of the longest weeks everrr and I don't know whyyy. T* came over for dinner and we both decided to cook something. I made Kimchi Jigae and T* decided to try this new recipe she found. It wasn't anything hard but it was definitely something new? Lol. She made.. Cheez-it Chicken nuggets!

It was totally the weirdest combination of food to eat, buuut they were both delicious! Try the Cheez-it Chicken! I know it sounds really odd, but it's actually pretty good! It would be a great/easy dish for a get together with a lot of friends or something :]

It was kinda odd to see T* doing anything kitchen related ;x she usually doesn't do stuff like that so I guess I can consider myself lucky that my bestfriend actually cooked something for me for once, lmao. This is kinda random/not exactly related, but I just wanted to share:

My dad made this for me when he came home from work.
It's a very simple clam/muscle soup and I looove it.
I don't have the recipe for it yet, but I defintely will learn it one day!

Wow, ok. I'll stop talking now, lmao. I guess this entry makes up for the time that I've been away. Sorry! I'll definitely try to post a bit more often. I don't know how my lifestyle will be when classes start but I will try my best! I can finally sleep in and not wake up at 7AM for work. I can't wait. My boyfriend starts school next week! So, this Sunday will be our last "Summer Sunday" together! :[ Buttt, we'll obviously still see one another over the weekend :D

A little bit of everything :]

Today was a beautiful day. It finally felt like summer! It was 88º sunny :D I got to sleep in because I didn't have work today, hehe. I woke up and had to go pay my tuition for my fall semester of college. Then, I went to the mall with my parents because my dad had to adjust his watch strap. Before I get more into what I did today, let me just recap a little bit :)

Last week some time, I had to go request for a my transcript from the community college I took my summer course in. On the way back I picked up a drink from Fusion Ti because it was just way too humid that day and I was craving for a refreshment. Every time I go there I always order either the tradition milk tea with tapioca or a mango green tea without tapioca. I decided to go w/ the green tea this time.

Then, I went to the mall with my mom to buy my dad a birthday present. We decided to get him a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. That took forever but the lady who helped us was very nice and had a lot of patience, lol. After we purchased the gift, we went home.

That following Saturday was my dad's birthday, (Happy birthday, Daddy!) My aunt, my dad's oldest sister, treated us to lunch. Then we split and my parents and I went grocery/cake shopping. We decided to buy a cake from the Asian market. After we finished food shopping, we dropped everything off at home and just shopped around the local stores. By the time we came home the second time, it was dinner time. We had dinner at my grandma's house. It's always nice to be with family<3

&!OMG, AHHH. The day before my dad's birthday.. T* and I received our PACKAGE! T* and I placed an order for 2 bow headbands in red on July 21 and it came on July 31! My mother called me while I was at work and told me that a little box arrived for "WLOVEXO"! I was beyond excited!

Ok, done recapping. So, today at the mall.. we went straight to the get my dad's watch strap adjusted first. That took like 10 mins lol. After that my parents and I had a quick lunch at the food court.

I must say that it's expensive for an eyelash curler, but def worth it.

2PM, 2NE1, DBSK, OH MY!

So today is a beautiful day, and I'm home. AWESOME! O.Ov but anyways, I love korean music and I'm just going to talk to you about 2PM, 2NE1, and DBSK<3

2PM; I've been a fan since they first debuted, and they recently came out with their show, "Wild Bunny". I don't know why the show is called that actually, but who cares. They are seriously sooooo funny. OMG. Only 2 episodes have been out, and I'm already loving the show. HAHAH. So episode 2 shows the audience the wrap up of episode 1 when they sneaked out of their apartment without their manager knowing. So the next, idk 45mins?, showed a photoshoot and their concept was "sexy" but the staff picks the "best picture/s".

2NE1: "LETS PLAY!"; I usually just listen to boy groups, but this year is the year of girl groups. Literally. And, 2NE1 is by far, the best. I enjoy their music and their sense of fashion. They also have a show called "2NE1 TV".. well it's all YG family, but they have their own segment. And, I really like this picture~ 2NE1 FTW!<3

DBSK: Always Keep the Faith; You guys probably know what's going on with them right now. [LMAO, M*, I'm sure you're rolling right now!] When I first heard this news, I was quite shocked so I immediately went to their main thread on Soompi. I'm okay now after reading what's going on, and I know things will be okay. DBSK FOREVER<3
